About the Role

As Assistant Restaurant General Manager , you will play a critical leadership role supporting the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations. You’ll help drive performance, develop a high-performing team, and deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position offers significant growth potential as the company continues its national expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing full restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and mentoring team members to maintain high performance standards
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve any guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
• Help manage inventory, ordering, costs, and profitability targets
• Open and close the restaurant as needed; fill in for the GM during absences
• Drive sales initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
• Support administrative tasks including payroll, reporting, and vendor relationships

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of restaurant management experience (Assistant GM or similar leadership role preferred), ideally in casual dining or fast-casual environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Proven ability to manage costs, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
