You will have access to advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources, allowing you to implement specialized treatment modalities effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments to establish a thorough understanding of each individual's needs and rehabilitation goals.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other members of the patient care team to ensure continuity of care.Deliver a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities tailored to the patient's condition.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the appropriate use of therapeutic exercises and assistive devices to enhance recovery outside the therapy sessions.Effectively prioritize your caseload, ensuring optimal staffing and coordination of assignments while managing patient hand-offs smoothly.Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual recovery trajectories and outcomes.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including adults and children recovering from orthopedic surgeries and sports injuries, as well as individuals facing challenges related to chronic pain and mobility limitations. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patients' quality of life and independence, empowering them to regain functional abilities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.QualificationsA valid and current Physical Therapy License in the state of Virginia.A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.Demonstrated ability to work with various patient populations, particularly in pain management and orthopedic rehabilitation.Experience with documenting care in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
