Work Environment

Located in the heart of Winchester, Virginia, our rehabilitation facility offers a warm and inviting environment for both patients and staff. You will work alongside a collaborative team in an onsite setting, allowing for real-time interaction and patient management. The work schedule is designed to foster a balanced lifestyle, operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' movement patterns and functional capabilities to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions, utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques tailored to meet each patient's specific needs.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate exercise regimens, functional training, and applicable modalities.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that you dedicate adequate time and attention to serving each patient effectively.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary, using assessment tools to track improvements.
• Educate patients about their condition and empower them with knowledge to foster self-management and long-term wellness.
• Encourage patients by fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and provide holistic care.
• Document all care-related activities and treatment sessions accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at Joint Revival, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We are dedicated to providing tailored care that respects each patient's unique goals and lifestyle, with a strong emphasis on non-surgical interventions to minimize medication reliance.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• A track record of ethical practice, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy modalities and creating effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Familiarity and comfort with EMR systems, particularly web PT, for accurate record-keeping.
• Strong foundational knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques, grounded in current research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an outpatient setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead group therapy sessions and wellness programs.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or working with athletic populations is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
