Work Environment

This role is onsite in the patients' homes, allowing for a flexible and intimate setting conducive to healing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients as referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities, limitations, and overall health status.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs and physician directives.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to restore function and alleviate pain across a range of patient conditions.
• Engage in open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaborative care and optimal outcomes.
• Document progress and adjustments to treatment protocols in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate records for continuity of care.
• Meet and strive to exceed minimum utilization goals while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will span a diverse array of specialties, allowing you to work with orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on patient education and consultation.
• Proficient in word processing and other relevant computer applications to enhance documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked directly with home care patients. Experience within diverse outpatient settings, particularly in managing a caseload involving varied diagnoses, will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package, with a salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, complemented by full benefits.
