Work Environment

This role is fully onsite, primarily providing care within the client's homes throughout Winchester, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will have the following key responsibilities:

• Design and direct individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function in line with physician guidelines.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical conditions through various diagnostic tests and assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities checks.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual treatments at patients' homes as prescribed, guiding and motivating clients through rehabilitative activities.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to make tailored recommendations that increase their independence.
• Administer traction, massage, and other modalities, applying physical agents as indicated in treatment plans.
• Engage in regular reviews and updates of patient care plans, documenting progress and communicating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families on therapy processes, self-management techniques, and the use of physical therapy devices.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering specific therapeutic interventions, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
• Participate actively in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the holistic treatment planning and evaluation of client care.

This position focuses on a diverse patient population requiring home care therapy services. Clients may include elderly individuals, patients recovering from surgery, and those living with chronic conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in Virginia, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to patient care excellence and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients, families, and medical professionals.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who possess:

• A minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
