Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Saber Rehabilitation, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain based on comprehensive evaluations of your clients.
• Monitoring and directing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure appropriate implementation of therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures.
• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' functional abilities and environmental challenges to optimize their rehabilitation and independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and utilizing physical agents like traction and massage as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluating, fitting, and modifying prosthetic and orthotic devices according to client needs and clinical best practices.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and collaboratively plan effective care strategies.
• Maintaining detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Providing instruction to clients and their families regarding the use of therapy devices and the overall care plan, ensuring they are well-informed and engaged in the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and general mobility challenges. Your expertise will enable you to cater treatment plans to each client's specific needs, promoting healing and enhancing functional abilities. You will engage with patients in a collaborative manner, fostering trust and encouraging their active participation in therapy.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT licensure in the state of Virginia (in good standing).
• At least two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
