Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Brighter Future Physical Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to assess their physical condition, symptoms, and therapy goals.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and crafting customized treatment plans focused on recovery and rehabilitation.
• Instructing patients in therapeutic exercises and ensuring proper execution to prevent injury.
• Administering manual therapies such as massage to stimulate healing and promote mobility.
• Guiding patients in the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of treatment sessions and outcomes.
• Providing families with resources and advice on at-home treatment methods and exercises to continue their loved ones' progress.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
