Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address functional limitations and disabilities.
• Providing expert consultation to other healthcare providers to ensure effective continuity of care for our patients.
• Fostering positive relationships with patients of all ages and backgrounds, adhering to our high standards of customer service.
• Implementing treatment interventions, periodically re-evaluating progress, and modifying treatment plans as necessary, documenting findings in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, to advocate for patient care and facilitate timely updates.
• Participating in leadership and community outreach initiatives—engaging in marketing, program development, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) projects within the department.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants, aides, and student interns, ensuring proper training and resource management.
• Attending staff meetings and committing to ongoing professional development through educational programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, chronic pain issues, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be crucial in crafting tailored interventions that not only address physical rehabilitation but also consider the psychological and emotional needs of our patients. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy, complying with all laws and regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation settings will be highly valued. Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques and modalities, along with experience in case management, will enhance your ability to meet our patients' needs effectively.
