Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient office, with a work schedule that runs Monday through Friday, typically from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm. This environment promotes direct interaction among therapists, patients, and families, allowing for a hands-on approach to rehabilitation in a supportive setting. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies to support effective therapy practices.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Thrive Medi Flex Ortho, LLC, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients' conditions through thorough evaluations and utilizing this information to craft customized treatment plans that align with their specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote healing and functional recovery.
• Collaborating with fellow therapists, healthcare providers, and family members to design a cohesive care strategy that enhances patient outcomes.
• Conducting educational sessions for patients and caregivers to highlight the importance of therapy and provide guidance during the rehabilitation process.
• Completing accurate documentation of patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Providing mentorship and support to less experienced staff in best practices for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse patient population experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A valid Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality patient care.
• Effective communication skills to engage patients and their families positively and constructively.
• A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency guidelines related to physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
