Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced treatment technologies and methodologies that cater specifically to patients with orthopedic needs. Our small, yet dynamic team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere. Work Environment

This position requires on-site work at our home care facility in Winchester, VA, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring consistent availability and dedicated support for our patients. The environment is designed for optimal patient outcomes, featuring ample space for therapy sessions, a variety of equipment conducive to rehabilitation, and a welcoming atmosphere that promotes healing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs, establishing meaningful goals to guide treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, enabling focused and tailored care for each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based practice methodologies to deliver effective treatments aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Employ various therapeutic procedures and modalities to reduce pain and improve a patient's ability to engage in daily activities.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness programs that reflect each patient's unique requirements and preferences.
• Implement innovative rehabilitation strategies that minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress meticulously in accordance with best practices, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Encourage and motivate patients to adhere to their rehabilitation programs, fostering an environment of empowerment and self-efficacy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and holds a valid Virginia license to practice.

• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation and streamline workflows.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
