Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders. This includes gathering detailed information about their mental health history, current symptoms, and psychosocial factors affecting their well-being.

• Diagnosis: Utilize the DSM-5 or relevant diagnostic frameworks to accurately diagnose mood disorders, ensuring that clients receive appropriate and targeted services.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring they incorporate evidence-based practices and align with clients' personal goals.

• Psychotherapy: Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to clients, adapting your approach based on their unique needs and responses.

• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or crises related to their mood disorders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a supervising psychiatrist and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care, providing comprehensive support that may also involve medication management.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD $100,000 – $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside opportunities for performance-related bonuses.
