Work Environment This position allows for a blend of remote and in-person interactions, ensuring flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. Working primarily from home, you will conduct virtual counseling sessions and collaborate with fellow professionals through telehealth platforms. The Detox Center serves as a vibrant hub for client care, where you may occasionally meet clients or attend team meetings, facilitating a collaborative atmosphere even in a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough individual counseling sessions via secure video platforms, delivering tailored mental health support to clients experiencing substance use challenges. Utilize evidence-based assessments to determine client needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that set clear, achievable goals for recovery and personal growth. Implement therapeutic interventions that address both mental and emotional health, adapting to each client’s unique journey. Advocate for clients by connecting them with additional resources, support groups, and community services to enhance their recovery process. Engage in regular consultation with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive and holistic care that aligns with patients' recovery plans. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record systems. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be clients in the detoxification phase of recovery from substance use disorders. Many of these individuals face significant emotional and psychological challenges as they transition into sobriety. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in not only addressing their immediate mental health needs but also empowering them with coping strategies, self-advocacy skills, and connections to long-term support resources. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid LCSW license in the state of California with a clean disciplinary record. Proven experience in clinical social work practice, especially in assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with a diverse range of clients. Proficient in using digital tools and telehealth technology, with a strong ability to adapt to various remote platforms. Preferred Experience Experience working with clients in detox or inpatient substance use treatment settings. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to addiction and mental health treatment. Experience in crisis intervention and managing high-stress client interactions. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
