Material Planning Coordinator

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Planning Coordinator in Wayne, NJ for an approximately one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support material planning and control activities, including tracking hardware through the repair process, monitoring material requisitions and schedules, and maintaining accurate material movement information.



Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Secret clearance required to start.
U.S. citizenship required.
Familiarity with material planning responsibilities, including material tracking and movement of hardware throughout a facility.



Preferred Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with Oracle.
Previous experience supporting material planning activities.
Some college education preferred.



What You'll Do
Support material planning and control functions and assist with moving hardware through the repair process.
Use YORK (Your Online Repair Knowledge) to accurately track hardware as it moves through factory areas.
Prepare and monitor material requisitions and schedules.
Maintain engineering specifications and track material movement across purchasing, warehouse, and production functions.
Create and generate reports covering material plans and schedules.
Utilize Oracle MRP systems to support material planning activities.
Provide general administrative support and assist with the implementation and interpretation of applicable administrative policies and procedures.



Work Schedule / Shift
1st shift, Monday-Friday.
9/80 work schedule.
Tentative hours: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
No overtime expected.
