This role focuses on driving enterprise growth by helping leading retail brands transform customer engagement through innovative AI-powered solutions. You will lead strategic sales initiatives, build executive-level relationships, and create opportunities that redefine how brands interact with shoppers. Accountabilities: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing enterprise partnerships, generating revenue opportunities, and leading strategic sales initiatives within the retail sector. This role requires strong commercial expertise, the ability to engage senior stakeholders, and experience managing complex technology sales cycles. Identify, research, and engage enterprise retail prospects through strategic prospecting, networking, outbound initiatives, and relationship-building activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with executives and key decision-makers across retail brands, marketplaces, consumer services, and technology organizations. Own the complete enterprise sales lifecycle, from pipeline creation and discovery through negotiation, contracting, and closing. Manage complex, high-value sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and extended buying processes. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Create customized presentations, proposals, and business cases aligned with customer goals and challenges. Collaborate with marketing, product, technical, operations, legal, and finance teams to support successful customer engagements. Help define and optimize sales processes, go-to-market strategies, and commercial operations within a growing team. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to identify new growth areas. Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering solutions that improve customer experiences. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales leader with a proven ability to close large-scale technology deals and develop strategic customer relationships. You should combine strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to succeed in a high-growth environment. 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise, strategic, or consultative sales roles focused on acquiring and expanding large accounts. Demonstrated success managing significant sales quotas and closing complex six- and seven-figure annual contract value deals. Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and contract execution. Experience engaging senior executives and building long-term relationships with retail brands or consumer-focused organizations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate market opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Proven track record of generating pipeline through research, networking, outbound prospecting, and relationship development. Experience building go-to-market strategies, sales motions, or teams within early-stage or high-growth companies. Preferred: Knowledge of artificial intelligence, conversational AI, enterprise software, or emerging technology trends. Preferred: Experience selling solutions within retail, e-commerce, consumer technology, or customer experience platforms.
