The selected candidate will support a government agency's Review Unit, assisting with due process matters, licensee appeals, legal research, and statutory compliance tasks. Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Division of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Review Unit with due process and licensee appeal situations
- Interview clients and gather relevant information
- Research legal questions and applicable statutes
- Review criminal histories in support of licensing decisions
- Support the team with additional statutory requirements as needed
- Valid Paralegal certification (mandatory)
- Prior paralegal experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong legal research skills
- Experience in a government or regulatory environment
- Onsite - Newark, NJ 07102
- Parking provided
- Business casual dress code
- Contract position
