Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process
- Collect essential data, assess patient condition, and identify care needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care; monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor responses, manage devices, and ensure patient safety
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members; supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff
- Engage patients and families, provide education, and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- CPR certification or BLS certification from an approved vendor per policy
- BSN preferred
- At least two years of recent experience in acute/ICU or critical care settings
- Ability to work night shifts and function effectively in a high-acuity ICU environment
