Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused BDC Service Representative to join our team. This is an on-site, Monday–Friday position, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.  

This position is responsible for communicating with our service customers, scheduling appointments, following up with customers who are due for maintenance, and helping ensure every customer has a positive experience before, during, and after their service visit.

The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, is comfortable on the phone, has strong follow-up skills, and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Automotive experience is helpful but not required, we will train the right person.

• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries.
• Make outbound calls to customers who are due or overdue for recommended maintenance and service.
• Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and dealership availability.
• Confirm upcoming service appointments and help reduce missed appointments.
• Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction and identify any concerns.
• Contact customers regarding manufacturer-recommended maintenance and dealership service campaigns.
• Assist with service appointment reminders, declined services, and customer follow-up opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer information, appointment details, and communication records in the dealership CRM/DMS.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the Service Department to keep appointment information accurate and up to date.
• Identify opportunities to schedule additional needed maintenance or services while focusing on the customer's needs.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and escalate issues to the appropriate manager or Service Advisor when necessary.
• Provide a welcoming and professional customer experience that reflects the Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota brand.
• Meet established goals for appointments, outbound contacts, follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on unsold or missed service opportunities as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and dealership information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The best person for this position is someone who can turn a phone call into a relationship. You don't have to be a salesperson—you need to be someone who cares about customers, follows through, stays organized, and enjoys helping people.

You should be comfortable picking up the phone, having a genuine conversation with a customer, finding out what they need, and making sure the next step gets taken.
