Medical Records Management Specialist

Pay or shift range: $18 USD to $20 USD. Description JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Records Management Specialist to join our growing healthcare team in Bridgewater, NJ. Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medical records, ensuring documentation accuracy, maintaining confidentiality, and providing general administrative support. A healthcare background and strong computer skills are required. Responsibilities Process, organize, and maintain patient medical records. Scan, index, upload, and retrieve electronic medical records. Ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA requirements. Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner. Communicate with providers, attorneys, insurance carriers, and staff regarding documentation requests. Assist with record audits and quality assurance. Provide general administrative support to the office as needed. Qualifications Healthcare experience required. Experience with medical records management preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
