Job Description Assistant Manager at Domino's Pizza responsible for ensuring daily operations run smoothly, maintaining customer satisfaction, and upholding store standards. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of store operations during shifts, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Set a positive example for the crew and enforce all company policies and procedures. Staff scheduling, complete necessary paperwork, maintain food management, adherence to image standards, and marketing activities. Ensure attendance, punctuality, and store cleanliness. Monitor profitability and drive sales growth. Coordinate transportation to/from work and manage store cleaning tasks. Assist with training and orientation of new team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail or food service preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator. Ability to enter orders electronically and process monetary transactions accurately. Motor coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable handling of equipment and large items. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (for delivery duties). Work Conditions Temperature range from 36°F to 90°F or higher depending on section; exposure to hot surfaces up to 500°F. Outdoor exposure to varying weather while performing delivery or promotional tasks. Fumes from food, cornmeal dust, and cramped work areas in walk‑in cooler. Requirement to move heavy items up to 50 lbs and lift, carry, push or pull goods such as ingredient cases, dough trays, and pizza boxes. Standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing required throughout shift. Physical & Sensory Requirements Must stand for most tasks and walk short distances regularly. Lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull large objects, and climb stairs or ladders as needed. Good vision for far and near tasks, hearing for telephone and in‑store communication. Capable of hand‑eye coordination for tasks such as pizza assembly and ordering.
