This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Training and orientation provided on the job. Communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co‑workers. Perform accurate math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and handle monetary change. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Navigate addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings. Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas. Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher. Cramped quarters and moving mechanical parts. Driving conditions include visibility challenges and night vision requirements. Temperaments Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
