Commercial Project Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from initial budgeting and estimating through final project closeout. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, a solid understanding of MEP systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects while building lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions oriented, and comfortable managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities Prepare construction project budgets and estimates using drawings and specifications Manage projects from initial planning through completion and closeout Oversee project budgets, cost controls, schedules, and change order administration Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and profitability Coordinate subcontractors, permitting, bidding, estimating, billing, and project documentation Identify potential project risks, assess site conditions, and evaluate material and equipment lead times Prepare and coordinate RFP packages and subcontractor bid requests Maintain accurate project records, schedules, budgets, and cost reports Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for new business Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Strong knowledge of construction estimating, bidding, subcontracting, permitting, scheduling, cost management, billing, and project closeout Experience with MEP systems and coordination across multiple construction trades Familiarity with Plan and Specification, MEP Design Build, and Design Build delivery methods Experience with Procore preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Microsoft Project Life sciences or biotech construction experience is a plus LEED accreditation is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently Client focused mindset with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and relationship development Proactive, solutions oriented approach with strong problem solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Car allowance Performance based bonus opportunities Paid time off, starting at 128 hours annually and increasing with tenure, up to 208 hours Retirement plan with a 3% Safe Harbor employer contribution Why Consider This Opportunity?
