Job Title: TEMP Loan Operations and Settlement Specialist (Onsite)

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Loan Operations and Settlement Temp Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and settlement of loan transactions. This onsite position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced financial environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to support loan servicing and fund transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Processing: Efficiently and accurately process all daily loan transactions within our loan systems, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Documentation Review: Verify and review all loan documentation and Letters of Credit to ensure correctness and completeness.
• Deal Coordination: Collaborate with colleagues to understand deal structures and ensure proper execution of transactions.
• Compliance & Controls: Follow detailed checklists and procedures to maximize control, reduce errors, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fund Transfers & Settlements: Liaise with the Settlement team to facilitate timely transfer of funds and resolve any discrepancies.
• Inquiry Response: Respond promptly and professionally to queries from the lending group, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Reconciliation & Investigation: Reconcile system discrepancies, investigate issues related to loan processing, and escalate as needed.
• Systems Administration: Assist with the administration and maintenance of customer data within Avaloq and Murex systems.
• Letter of Credit Activities: Book and monitor LC transactions, including fees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of financial systems such as Avaloq or Murex is a plus, but not mandatory.
