Facilities Associate Location: New York, NY Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 2 months (could be temp to perm if they fit) Pay Rate: $23.00$25.00 / Hour (USD) Shift / Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (TBD), with 1-hour lunch break Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary As a Facilities Associate, you'll oversee team activities that coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to make sure work orders are complete. Required Skills Ability to lift and move boxes up to 75 lbs Computer skills to operate UPS and FedEx shipping tools Comfortable moving boxes from room to room daily Organizational skills Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Outlook primarily) Facilities experience of some kind Customer service skills Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Slack, Airtable, SI7 facilities ticket software, and any facilities-related software Preferred Skills Mailroom or loading dock experience Shipping/receiving experience Corporate office experience Education Requirements 4-year college degree a plus, but open to lesser degrees and certificates Required Experience 5 years of experience in a corporate environment (no formal trainer provided candidate must be able to hit the ground running and learn by doing) Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund Work Environment / Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 75 lbs Daily physical movement of boxes between rooms required Overtime expected About the Client This client is a leading provider of commercial real estate services and facilities management, operating globally across a broad range of sectors and geographies.
