Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, providing you with the opportunity to interact personally with patients and collaborate closely with your colleagues. You will be a part of a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) who together prioritize high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand each patient's specific goals, needs, and challenges to tailor treatment approaches accordingly.
• Manage a case load of one patient per hour, ensuring that you provide individualized attention and care.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient treatments to deliver effective rehabilitation plans.
• Explore and implement cost-effective treatment options that improve patients' mobility while minimizing dependence on medication.
• Develop personalized care plans incorporating diverse therapeutic techniques and innovative strategies.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' needs and objectives.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation to optimize their physical functions and promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver a holistic approach to patient care.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, track progress, and maintain clear and comprehensive records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be the orthopedic outpatient population, with a majority of patients holding private medical insurance. You will address a wide range of conditions that affect movement and functionality, aiming to return patients to their pre-injury performance levels and improve their overall health.

Qualifications

• Hold a completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.
• Experience in a home care environment is highly desirable, as this role will involve providing care in patients' homes as well.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
