The position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while offering essential outpatient services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and individualized assessments to develop tailored therapy strategies for clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, engaging in regular team meetings and case discussions.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We particularly focus on family and couples therapy, substance abuse recovery, and trauma-informed practices. Our aim is to empower clients by facilitating therapeutic engagements that help them overcome life's obstacles and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines in therapeutic practice.

Horizon Care Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, alongside a generous sign-on bonus.
