Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will:

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing trusting and positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address ongoing challenges, and discuss future appointments or discharge plans as appropriate.

• Create, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans, ensuring they are person-centered and aligned with clients’ goals.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and detailed progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans.

• Provide both individual and, when appropriate, group therapy sessions to facilitate healing and personal growth.

• Engage in meaningful individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly focuses on youth clients, allowing the counselor to make a significant impact on their mental health and well-being. The clinician will work with diverse populations, addressing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other psychiatric disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
