Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a manageable caseload by establishing trusting, professional relationships with clients, ensuring ethical standards and boundaries are upheld.

  • Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, plan for upcoming appointments, and determine appropriate discharge timelines.

  • Create, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans that prioritize the unique needs and goals of each client.

  • Document client progress and treatment notes meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
  • \n
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather detailed information regarding clients’ mental health needs and histories.

  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions as required, utilizing evidence-based practices to support client recovery.

  • Engage in individual supervision to foster professional growth and enhance therapy practices.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on youth clients, particularly those experiencing mental health challenges and/or substance use issues. By utilizing a strengths-based approach, you will empower young individuals to navigate their challenges and build a foundation for emotional stability and growth. Qualifications\n

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's Degree preferred for advanced clinical practice.

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • Ability to meet and exceed internal credentialing requirements within the clinical setting.
  • \n
  • A minimum of one year of hands-on experience with psychiatric patients and/or populations facing substance use challenges.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing both individual and group therapy.
  • \n
  • Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience in utilizing electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While we primarily require one year of relevant experience, candidates with additional experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, familiarity with telehealth platforms, and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapy methods will be given preference.
