Cybersecurity Analyst II

Role Overview: Monitors, analyzes, and correlates security event data from various security solutions and systems. Assists in developing, coordinating, and implementing system security plans. Performs hands-on security administration, including vulnerability scans, research, testing, and monitoring. Tracks remediation efforts and develops reports on security metrics, progress, and deficiencies for management. Supports cybersecurity initiatives through training materials and presentations. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields. At least 2 years of relevant experience, with preferred knowledge of third-party/vendor risk assessments, risk management platforms, and security monitoring tools. Familiar with security standards like NIST, HIPAA, FIPS, and experience assessing risks affecting protected health information (PHI). Proficient in security concepts, regulatory requirements, network and endpoint security, and incident response. Strong communication, multitasking, and technical translation skills required. Key Duties: Security data analysis, system security planning, vulnerability management, report generation, and supporting cybersecurity training.
