Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and accommodating various personal commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, taking into account their personal histories, academic performance, and any presenting concerns, utilizing standardized tools and your clinical expertise.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students that focus on mental health stabilization, coping strategies, and reintegration into their educational environment.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues.

• Deliver psychoeducation to students and families, emphasizing self-awareness, mental health literacy, and available resources in the community.

• Work in conjunction with educators, counselors, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students while coordinating comprehensive treatment plans that align with educational goals.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate intervention strategies and make appropriate referrals for additional support when necessary, ensuring student safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous records of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, allowing for robust data tracking and impact measurement.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities to remain compliant with the latest mental health laws and regulations, contributing to a culture of learning and adaptiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse array of students facing challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related issues. This role requires an understanding of the developmental stages of children and adolescents, as well as the ability to cater therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of varied backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Applicants must hold a current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is necessary, with a preference for background in educational or community-based environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care is essential, alongside a proficiency in conducting complex mental health evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
