Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with varied conditions, such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
• Create customized treatment plans based on individual assessments, incorporating techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on guidance to educate patients on proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Track and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals to coordinate care and share patient insights.
• Engage patients and their families in the rehabilitation process, providing education on self-care strategies and preventive measures.
• Stay updated on the latest practices through continuous education, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and maintain your state license.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
