Work Environment

Located in Paramus, New Jersey, our outpatient office is designed to be a welcoming space where patient comfort and care are prioritized. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on mobility, pain management, balance, and functional rehabilitation.
• Deliver evidence-based hands-on treatments, therapeutic exercises, and gait training to foster recovery.
• Educate patients and families on exercise, rehabilitation techniques, and preventive strategies to maintain health and mobility.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records that comply with healthcare regulations and facilitate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adapt treatment plans based on individual development and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily targets patients in an outpatient setting, which may include individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Your focus will extend to a diverse range of clients, including elderly patients who require specialized care to support their mobility and independence. Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience, with a strong preference for experience in outpatient settings.
