Operations Processor

This Operations Processor 1 role supports operational processing activities within a high-volume processing environment. The position is primarily responsible for processing paper checks, scanning documents, validating information, and supporting daily operational workflows. The successful candidate will perform routine operational tasks while following established procedures and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process paper checks and related financial documents.
• Scan, index, and validate documents within operational systems.
• Perform routine operations support activities following established procedures.
• Collect and organize operational data and prepare related reports.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Prepare information and input forms for automated processing systems.
• Research and resolve basic operational issues and escalate when necessary.
• Furnish information to authorized personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate assigned operational tasks and support department objectives.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and compliance standards throughout daily processing activities.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of Operations Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience processing operational transactions in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with paper documents and financial items.
• Ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work onsite 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience processing checks, cash, payments, or financial transactions.
• Banking, lockbox, remittance, or back-office operations experience.
• Experience scanning, indexing, and validating documents.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.
