Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to identify patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating emotional recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, including individuals experiencing various life challenges, mental health conditions, and trauma responses. We primarily focus on supporting hospital patients who may be dealing with acute psychological distress or the psychological impacts of chronic health issues. The complexity of our patients' needs requires counselors to adapt their approaches, making cultural competence, empathy, and effective communication essential.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by hospital patients.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect effectively with patients and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models that apply to acute and/or outpatient settings.

• The capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing a varied caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on adult mental health, will be given preference. Additional training in trauma-informed care or specialized certifications will enhance candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
