Workforce Coordinator

Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.

Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Workforce Coordinator to support staffing coordination and day-to-day workforce operations. You will help coordinate schedules, track staffing needs, communicate with teams, and support coverage across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinate employee schedules and staffing requests

• Monitor staffing needs and help identify coverage gaps

• Communicate schedule updates and staffing information to employees and managers

• Maintain accurate workforce and scheduling records

• Track attendance, availability, and schedule changes

• Follow up on staffing requests and operational needs

• Support managers with routine workforce coordination

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, operations, administration, or a similar role

• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Good communication and follow-up skills

• Ability to manage changing priorities and scheduling needs

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and scheduling systems

• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

• Reliable internet connection and workspace

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous workforce management or scheduling experience

• Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling software

• Experience coordinating employees across multiple locations or teams

• Background in food service, hospitality, retail, care, or other multi-location businesses

COMPENSATION

$45,000–$60,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
