Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Physician Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health and treatment needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans for pediatric patients, in partnership with supervising physicians.
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatment options, medication management, and preventive care.
• Administering vaccinations and performing minor procedures as required.
• Documenting patient interactions accurately and promptly in the electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with facility policies and government regulations.
• Responding to patient inquiries and coordinating follow-up care as necessary.
• Actively participating in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and clinical improvements.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and staying current with pediatric best practices and innovations in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program with active certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physician Assistant role ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 130,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
