Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations to identify the nature and source of their chronic pain.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized treatment plans in close collaboration with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment methods, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, including physical therapy, to effectively manage patients' pain.
• Perform interventional pain management procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on emerging data and outcomes.
• Utilize our EMR/EHR systems to maintain up-to-date, accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities to remain abreast of the latest advancements in pain management.

As a Physician Assistant at the MidWest Pain Relief Center, you will work with a diverse patient population suffering from varying degrees and types of chronic pain, including those recovering from injuries, patients with complex medical histories, and individuals seeking long-term management strategies. Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York State.
• Completion of a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in pain management or a closely related field.
• Strong proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with electronic health records systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a strong base salary, our benefits package includes:
