Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our advanced Surgical Center, allowing for an engaging, hands-on approach to patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. Our work environment emphasizes collaboration among healthcare providers, ensuring that every staff member plays a critical role in the treatment process. The center operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a sustainable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical exams to diagnose pain-related conditions.
• Order appropriate imaging studies and laboratory tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop customized treatment plans that may include prescribing non-narcotic medications and arranging physical therapy sessions.
• Schedule and assist in interventional procedures within the Surgical Center, ensuring all pre- and post-operative protocols are followed.
• Document all patient interactions, update medical records, and communicate findings to the healthcare team effectively.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns to ensure the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care.
• Participate in team meetings discussing patient care strategies and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions, which may include musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain syndromes. Our focus is on delivering individualized care plans that empower patients in their recovery journey to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York is required.
• Strong clinical skills in conducting evaluations and managing treatment plans for pain management patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, with a focus on pain management or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in understanding and utilizing pain assessment tools and multimodal treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
