Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As our Physician Assistant, you will carry out a broad range of responsibilities including:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our physicians.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order necessary diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions.
• Administer a variety of injections, such as trigger point and joint injections, directly enhancing patient comfort and mobility.
• Prescribe medications and provide tailored pain management recommendations based on each patient’s unique needs.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving health statuses.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques and treatment plans, empowering them to manage their health actively.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and update the broader care team on individual patient progress.
• Advocate for and inform patients about their health status, prescribed medications, and best practices for disease prevention.
• Promote overall health and wellness among patients through proactive engagement and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, primarily those suffering from chronic pain and related conditions. You will work with patients requiring careful management strategies, including post-surgical recovery, and those navigating complex pain syndromes. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license with current certification (PA-C).
• Possession of a DEA and NPI number, essential for prescribing medications.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, or emergency department setting.

Preferred Experience

While experience in general medicine is valuable, candidates with specific backgrounds in pain management, urgent care, cardiology, or internal medicine will stand out. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this Physician Assistant position ranges from USD 140,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. As an added incentive, we provide a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for qualified candidates.
