Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients, gathering detailed medical histories and performing complete physical examinations to inform diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of interventions grounded in the latest clinical guidelines.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to collaboratively enhance patient outcomes and streamline patient care processes.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform specialized pain management procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, depending on individual credentialing.
• Continuously monitor, record, and interpret patient progress, adjusting treatment plans in response to changing patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing our electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and training programs to stay informed on emerging best practices in pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients at MidWest Pain Relief Center primarily consist of individuals grappling with various chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to back pain, neuropathic pain, arthritis, and post-surgical pain. We take a compassionate, patient-centered approach, ensuring that each treatment plan is customized to meet the unique needs and preferences of every individual. Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in pain management or a closely related healthcare field.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related area.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record programs and standard medical documentation processes.
• A proven ability to operate both independently and as part of a cohesive healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred. Additional experience or certifications in pain management techniques and procedural skills would be highly regarded. Familiarity with community health initiatives and patient outreach programs is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
