Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat patients experiencing pain, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and protocols.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of medical professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and ongoing needs.
• Engage in both inpatient and outpatient settings; performing consultations, managing follow-up appointments, and participating in on-call schedules as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
• Oversee the coordination of discharge planning in collaboration with case management to streamline patient transitions and recovery.
• Provide specialty consultations and be an integral part of our referral network, acting as a knowledgeable resource for other physicians regarding complex pain management cases.
• Ensure compliance with insurance documentation requirements, addressing any authorizations or denials expediently to facilitate patient access to necessary treatments.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field, with a required Master’s degree preferred.
• A valid, active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
