Spring Hill Medical Physicians is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management. We are looking for a Full-time PA who is committed to providing quality healthcare, ensuring safety and empathy in every patient interaction. This position will involve evaluating patients, determining appropriate treatment plans, ordering imaging studies, prescribing physical therapies and non-narcotic medications, as well as scheduling and coordinating interventional procedures. Work Environment

This position is performed in an onsite hospital facility, where medical professionals work together to provide comprehensive care. The collaborative environment allows for continuous communication amongst team members, enhancing the patient experience. As a Physician Assistant in our pain management department, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources necessary to perform your duties efficiently and effectively. Your workweek will be structured from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing direct clinical care to patients, following evidence-based practice guidelines and established protocols.
• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' conditions, recommending appropriate treatments, and designing tailored care plans that align with individual needs.
• Documenting patient encounters meticulously in electronic health records to maintain accurate charts reflecting current findings and treatments.
• Addressing patient inquiries and concerns with sensitivity, ensuring they understand their care and treatment options.
• Collaborating with surgeons, nurse practitioners, and other members of the medical team to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care and improve overall service delivery.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Pain Management department at Spring Hill Medical Physicians serves a diverse patient population dealing with various chronic pain conditions. Our patients may present with post-operative pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, and other complex pain syndromes. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in assessing, managing, and alleviating the suffering of these patients, significantly impacting their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field is required.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing diseases, and managing patient care consistently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• An independent yet collaborative approach, capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in pain management or a similar specialty.
• Experience using electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with interventional pain management procedures is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
