Work Environment

Your work setting will be within a hospital environment where collaboration with physicians, nurses, and various healthcare specialists is paramount. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to gather comprehensive medical histories and perform physical evaluations.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs.
• Perform diagnostic tests and coordinate additional examinations as necessary to inform treatment strategies.
• Administer therapeutic injections, such as trigger point and joint injections, and manage pain through appropriate pharmaceutical interventions.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans based on evaluated outcomes and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on effective pain management techniques, treatment plans, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Promote preventative measures and maintain open communication with patients regarding their health conditions and management strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous education and research efforts to inform clinical practices and enhance professional skills.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who experience chronic and acute pain conditions, requiring acute care interventions along with effective management strategies. Our patient demographic encompasses diverse backgrounds and varying complexities of pain management needs, from individuals seeking treatment for musculoskeletal issues to those recovering from surgical procedures. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and build trusting relationships will enhance their treatment experience and foster compliance with care plans.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C).
• Current DEA and NPI registration numbers.
• Proven track record as a Physician Assistant in clinical or hospital settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to USD 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
