Work Environment

This role is based in a hospital setting, allowing you to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, and therapists. The work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced profession-life schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with pain-related conditions and implement individualized treatment plans based on established protocols.
• Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations, leveraging your expertise to identify the underlying causes of pain.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe appropriate non-narcotic medications and therapies to manage patient outcomes effectively.
• Schedule and coordinate interventional procedures, ensuring patients are informed and prepared.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, evaluations, and patient progress.
• Communicate openly with patients, addressing any concerns and educating them about pain management options.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish best practices and optimize patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions, ranging from musculoskeletal disorders to post-surgical pain. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active New York State licensure as a Physician Assistant.

• Proficient in performing physical examinations, diagnostics, and formulating treatment plans.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
