Work Environment

This full-time position requires availability Monday to Friday, with a standard workweek of 40 hours, concluding at 5:00 PM each day. The onsite work setting at our advanced surgical center allows you to engage directly with patients, healthcare providers, and technological resources tailored to pain management. Your clinical expertise will be supported by a collaborative team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff focused on delivering a seamless healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of clinical tasks that directly contribute to patient care, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians.
• Performing comprehensive physical exams and ordering necessary diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Administering injections and performing procedures such as trigger point and joint injections.
• Prescribing medications and providing expert recommendations for pain management strategies.
• Monitoring patient progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Educating patients and their families about effective pain management techniques, treatment options, and overall health practices.
• Maintaining accurate and meticulous patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss care strategies and optimize patient outcomes.
• Keeping informed about health conditions and prescribed medications to enhance patient knowledge and adherence to care protocols.
• Advancing professional knowledge through ongoing research, education, and discourse in the field of pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on individuals experiencing chronic pain due to various conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathies, and post-surgical recovery. The ideal applicant will demonstrate empathy and compassion while providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations, enhancing their understanding of health conditions and treatment pathways.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Must hold certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Obtaining a DEA and NPI number is required.
• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management or related fields is highly preferred.
• A background in acute care, internal medicine, cardiology, family health, urgent care, or emergency department settings will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with health regulations, patient care policies, and strong communication skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and a generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
