Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will operate onsite, collaborating closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Our facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and resources, allowing our team to deliver high-quality care efficiently. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic that is essential for our staff's well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients experiencing pain, implementing evidence-based practices to determine the most suitable course of treatment.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging as necessary, such as X-rays or MRIs, to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans, including recommendations for physical therapy and prescribed non-narcotic medications.
• Schedule and facilitate interventional procedures in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient charts, reflecting findings, treatments, and progress to ensure continuity of care.
• Foster a supportive and informative environment by addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Engage actively with the multidisciplinary medical team to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will cater to a diverse patient population comprising individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A fully accredited Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Active State Licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in pain management or a related area of healthcare.
• Strong proficiency in performing comprehensive physical examinations and diagnosing medical conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to perform independently while also thriving in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic focused on pain management treatments.
• Familiarity with interventional pain management techniques, such as nerve blocks or injections, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Community Care Physicians offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
