Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, gathering detailed medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations tailored to their specific pain management needs.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with best practices in pain management.
• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies while providing education to patients regarding their treatment options and management strategies.
• Perform a variety of pain management procedures, including but not limited to, joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, all while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor the progress of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments based on patient responses and feedback.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) using our EMR system, ensuring that documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay updated on advancements in pain management, enhancing the quality of care provided to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain. You will work closely with this population, understanding their unique circumstances and employing a variety of evidence-based interventions designed to alleviate their discomfort and improve their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in the state of New York.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the profession.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective communication with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in pain management or a related medical field is required. This includes hands-on experience in directly managing chronic pain patients and providing care in a surgical or clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the importance of attracting and retaining top talent, and as such, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
