Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and take detailed patient histories to assess their health and pain issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging as necessary to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that may include prescribing physical therapy, non-narcotic medications, or recommending interventional procedures.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring up-to-date patient information and treatment plans.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding pain management strategies and overall health and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Address any patient concerns effectively, ensuring a high standard of patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including those facing chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, back pain, migraines, and post-surgical pain. Your role is vital in understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient and tailoring treatment plans that actively involve them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess an active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in pain management or a related specialty.
• Proficient in performing thorough physical examinations and in diagnosing various medical conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
• A strong capacity for both independent decision-making and collaborative teamwork in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management, orthopedic care, or similar fields will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with pain management protocols and techniques, as well as emerging treatment options in the field.
• Competence in utilizing modern medical software and EHR systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
