WORK MODEL

FieldWHAT YOU WILL DO The Genesis Market Manager is responsible for the sales, marketing and owner experience performance of a defined group of exclusive Genesis dealerships in the U.S. The Market Manager serves as the primary liaison between Genesis Motor America and the assigned group of Genesis dealerships. The Market Manager is responsible for new and certified pre-owned sales performance, parts and accessory sales, customer satisfaction, marketing guidelines and overall dealership performance. The Market Manager should be able to analyze dealership financial statements, interpret and counsel dealers regarding sales performance and also understand the key fixed operations metrics required for profitable dealership operations. The Market Manager is the primary Genesis Motor America consultant assigned to the dealership. The Market Manager will work in tandem with Genesis Finance assigned representative to provide the highest possible levels of communication and analysis to the dealer principal, general manager and leadership team at each assigned store. This position will also assist the Area Manager and GMA headquarters/senior management with any Genesis Brand compliance areas such as Facility development and guidelines, Genesis DSSA adherence, and any additional ad hoc requests from GMA management.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Maintain regular contact with certified Genesis dealers to ensure execution of Genesis Business Plan goals, including new/Certified Pre-Owned sales, OEM parts and accessories, and customer experience objectives. Provide ongoing consultation on marketing strategies and monthly advertising plans for assigned dealers. Coordinate and support implementation of GMA marketing plans. Assist in organizing and scheduling Genesis-related dealer training activities. Apply independent judgment to complete distribution-related tasks, including Genesis vehicle wholesale assignments. Leverage advanced knowledge to coordinate customer-focused initiatives directed by GMA, such as conquest/retention events and service campaigns. Lead implementation of Genesis strategic initiatives, including service loaner programs, valet services, concierge support, and other premium customer experience enhancements. Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and business acumen to drive premium vehicle performance within the assigned market/area. Promote and uphold the Genesis luxury brand experience, ensuring a differentiated sales and service approach at dealership level. Exercise decision-making authority on luxury customer relations, vehicle allocation, and parts purchasing. Build and maintain strong dealer relationships, influencing key decision-makers to improve dealership operations, performance, and compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Must be a high school graduate Bachelor’s degree preferred Six or more years of experience working with or for U.S. automobile dealerships is essential Luxury dealership experience (from and OEM or retail perspective) a plus Prior supervisory experience preferred Experience with customer service initiatives also critical Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have highly effective verbal and written skills and the ability to make dealer and regional presentations Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management skills QMF Query capability Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $120,000 annual base salary Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance) Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
