Today, through our business customers across the country, millions of consumers use Qualia to close on homes every year.WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Qualia’s full Reconciliation Service pairs the best-in-class title & settlement accounting software alongside a dedicated, professional Reconciliation Specialist. This service is designed to ensure clients are audit-ready and compliant with best practices. As an Escrow Accountant, you are responsible for managing cash reconciliations for customer escrow accounts. You are the point person for the client; you will assist in cleanup & catch-up for your accounts, manage and clear daily exceptions, coach clients on best accounting practices, and alert clients to any audit red flags. Most importantly, accountants will be responsible for maintaining daily 3-Way reconciliation for Qualia customers’ accounts. RESPONSIBILITIESProducing/Processing of customer’s banking files (CSV/BAI2)Resolving transactional exceptions in Qualia and banking web sitesReporting unresolved exceptions to customersMonitoring/Producing accounting reports relevant to each customerGenerating month-end reports required by the customerReviewing month end accounting reports to determine account statusCommunicating customer account status both internally and externallySupporting current Qualia agents with their reconciliationsTransitioning current and new clients to Qualia Recon ServiceBuilding customer satisfaction with assigned clientsYOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCHA college degree or equivalent (Finance/Accounting majors preferred, but not required)A working knowledge of ExcelPrevious accounting or bookkeeping experienceExcellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skillsA keen eye to detailGreat processing skillsA team-player attitudeExceptional customer service skills Based in Austin, TX, with the ability to work in the office a minimum of three days per week is required.
