Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join a growing team supporting health and wellness programs. In this role, you will assist participants by phone and email, resolve questions and concerns, provide technical support, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Successful candidates are strong communicators who enjoy helping others and can effectively navigate multiple systems while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a focus on first-call resolution.

• Handle inbound phone calls, email inquiries, and escalated participant concerns.

• Assist participants with account registration, login issues, and password resets.

• Guide users through online portals and program websites.

• Answer questions regarding available applications, resources, and program features.

• Work closely with internal teams to resolve complex or non-routine issues.

• Assist participants in completing surveys and other program-related activities.

• Accurately document all customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of call center, customer service, or high-volume phone support experience.

• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer applications.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a technical call center environment.

• Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Experience responding to customers through both phone and email channels.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Hybrid position requiring onsite attendance twice per week after training.

• Candidates must reside within one hour of the Indianapolis office.

• Initial training is fully onsite and will last approximately four weeks or until independent readiness is demonstrated.

• Permanent shift assignment provided upon hire.

Available Shifts:

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

• 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Home Office Requirements

• Private workspace with a door.

• Ability to connect directly to the internet via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted).

• Work-from-home arrangements cannot be used as a substitute for childcare.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
